Scrabooking!

I have never made a scrapbook before...never ever! I decided a while ago when all of my wedding stuff was going on that I was definitely going to scrapbook all of these memories! I started on the book a few days ago and I'm still working on it! It's so much fun and I enjoy the crafty-ness of it all!! I have so many things to put in the book. I have pages for showers, showers, and more showers to bridal portraits to the bach party. You name anything that has to do with a wedding and it'll be in the book! All I'm waiting on are our wedding pictures. We will be getting them by the first of next week!!! So I will have them posted soon but here is one to glance at that my friend Kate took:

Back to the scrapbooking...I could have spent a fortune @ Michael's with all the scrapbooking materials to choose from! I DIDN'T but I could have...it wouldn't have been hard. My mom had bought me the actual book so that, I didn't have to get. There were 2 whole rows of all kinds of paper! 2 rows of just the paper?? I was going to be there for a while! I got it all...the cutest papers, the stickers, the alphabet letters..all kinds of stuff. If I was going to take the time to do this, I was going to make it look pretty!

I am having so much fun doing this and can't wait for it to be finished! Here are a few of the pages...

and got to go to a game while we were there!

I'm sure that I will decide to scrapbook something else down the road but this is it for now! And I will definitely post wedding pics when I get them!

2 very SWEET addictions!

I'll start with the lesser of the 2 addictions and the one that has both Brent and I by the fingers.  If you haven't gone to Sweet Cece's to see what all the talk is about, don't go!...You will be addicted for forever!

 haha! Unfortunately we have one right down the street in Belle Meade. So, for instance tonight @ around 8:45 while laying on the couch and watching t.v., Brent suddenly jumped up with a huge smile on his face and said "wanna go to Sweet Cece's?" Uh, Yea! I'll never pass that offer up. It's literally less than 5 minutes down the road. We first went about a month ago( it might actually have been 3 weeks ago) and have already punched through the "buy 9 get the 10th one free" card. Geez! It's frozen yogurt which is fat free and quite healthy for you. The kicker is that they entice you with oh 30 or 40 naughty toppings ranging from sour gummy worms to mashed up peanut butter cups to golden grahams...oh yea they also have fruit( strawberries, blackberries, blueberries etc..) Brent = fruit toppings..Pah-lease! Here is one that Brent would fix:

                   Georgia Peach yogurt with mixed fruit( it's good)


                  Me on the other hand...give me the junk and lots of it!!

SWEET! and yes it is!

                        Go try it! It's perfect on Sunday afternoons :)




Ok, my biggest addiction ever...

Yep...Starbucks! 6 days a week, Monday - Saturday, I get a Venti(the largest size) Iced Vanilla Latte in the mornings. The people @ the Starbucks that I frequent the most know me by name and sometimes have my drink made for me before I even make it to the counter to pay. haha! I'm being serious. I don't know how it got this bad? Isn't that what every addict says...I mean it's not BAD it's good. It's yummy. It's what gets me through the morning! i don't know what I would do if there wasn't a Starbucks near by. And whenever Brent and I go out of town or when I go out of town with my parents, I HAVE to find a Starbucks that morning or the next morning! Rachel = Coffee Lover! At least I can admit it :)

And I can't wait for the red holiday cups!! They automatically put me in a festive mood when I have one in my hand

Fall = 95 degrees??

Well, I can't believe tomorrow is the first day of Fall! It sure doesn't feel like it! My favorite thing about Fall besides the obvious( football, the cool weather, & the trees changing colors) is DeCoRaTiNg!!! I love to decorate and Fall gives me 3 opportunities... well "Fall", Halloween, and Thanksgiving. This makes me very happy. I have lots and lots of decorations for each holiday and I like to think that I have a pretty good eye for picking out fabulous decor! The outside world sure doesn't feel or look like Fall but inside the Easley house sure looks and smells like it :) 


Just to let you know, Brent and I will welcome you into our house...Anytime!

RE - DO

The past couple of weeks Brent and I have been "updating" our 2 bathrooms. We started with the master bath. Brent ripped up carpet and old tile and layed down very pretty tile over the entire floor. We picked out a new vanity and I chose a new mirror and then topped off the new look with fresh decorations! 

We took off the old mirror and....ewww floral wallpaper!

We also changed some things in the hall bathroom and it's still a work in process...

New light fixture and this mirror we had laying around...planning on getting a larger one soon.

New Addition to the Family

Someone decided to toss an almost newborn kitten out the window of their moving car this past week, so we have taken in a new roommate. Meet Phoebe...

She is joining our other furry friend Leo...
