boys boys boys

On Tuesday Rowen and I headed out to Lebanon to hang out with Kelli, Connor, and baby Cade. I hadn't seen them since baby Cade's birthday and wanted to catch up and see how everything was going. I also wanted Rowen and Connor to hang out and play for a little bit...since we live in Nashville and the Kegley fam lives in Lebanon, we don't get to see each other as often as I would like! I didn't have any recent pictures of the boys together so I told Kelli that I was definitely going to get a few before we left.

April came over and hung out for a little while too. She headed out on a mission trip to Moldova on Wednesday and needed her nephew fix since she wouldn't see them for a while. Baby Cade was awake for about 10 minutes or so when Row and I got there and then he fell asleep and stayed asleep for the rest of our visit. I got to hold him for a little while and while I was looking at him I told Kelli that I really couldn't believe Rowen was ever that small! Rowen still looks like a small baby but not when you place him beside a newborn!  Cade was such a good sleeper when we were there. He didn't even make a peep.

:)

Kelli let me get out her play gym for Rowen and he had a good time playing with something "new". Connor was all about his cars! He has about 50 little matchbox cars and rolled each one of them down a triangle pillow that Kelli gave him. I loved watching him laugh as they would crash into each other at the bottom. Such a cute little laugh he has! Rowen would watch everything he was doing when I had him in my arms. He really studies EVERYTHING!!

It's hard to get a 2 year old and a 6 month old to hold still at the same time and for longer than a few seconds! But we managed :) April went and got baby Cade from his crib so that we could hold him before we left. He stayed asleep through all the passing around. Rowen's head still feels hot all the time mainly because he has no hair but I forgot just how warm a newborn stays. My hands started to sweat when I was holding baby Cade. He is definitely a little heater!

The 3 boys!

I told Kelli that the next time they head our way we should get together. Hope to see y'all sooner than later!!
