Beach Trip 2012 - Part 4

We had the same schedule on Wednesday as we did on Tuesday. It was another beautiful day so we were definitely going to go to the beach! Rowen woke up every morning around 7am. After he wakes up, he immediately eats breakfast. After breakfast he played for a little bit while Brent and I ate breakfast and then we just hung around the house for a little while. When Row took his morning nap around 9, I headed down to the beach while Brent stayed at the house. I don't think Brent really minded staying back b/c while we were in FL he did a little bit of work everyday. So he worked some while Row napped. I headed back up at lunch time to feed Rowen and after we had a bit of lunch, we headed to the beach. We took the duck tub again b/c it's a great little seat/play toy for Rowen.

Before we headed to the beach, Libby played patty cake with Rowen while Brent and I got all of our stuff together.

He loved that game!

On the way out the door...Smooches!

My boys :)

When we got to the beach I sat with Rowen so Brent could lay out and read.

Sharing his toys :)

After about an hour and a half, we headed back to the house so Rowen could take his afternoon nap. He always naps for about an hour to an hour and 15 min. We headed back down around 3 or so and hung out under the tent for just a little bit. Before heading back we did our footprint picture in the sand. I saw the idea on pinterest and thought we should re create it.

( if you click on the picture you can see it better!)

A sweet lady on the beach offered to take a picture of all three of us! Then she talked to Rowen for a minute and he flashed a few of his oh so cute smiles at her and she thought that was the sweetest thing...and it is!! His smiles are precious.

After everyone cleaned up, fajita/taco night began! It was definitely a family affair...most everyone fixed a little something to add to the meal. Josh made his famous tortillas, April made some dips and pico, I made the guac, the guys chopped veggies for the fajitas, and Brent also made the taco meat. It was a delicious dinner! Everyone was pretty stuffed afterwards. After dinner and when the babies were asleep, it was time for game night! April and Josh brought some pretty fun games for the week. We played Partini this night and it was soooo fun. There were 2 teams and you would go back and forth from team to team. When it was your turn, you would pick a coaster and it had a category on the side facing down. Then you would pick a card from that category and have to do what was on the card...some of the categories were Smoothie( my fav ), you would have to mold items that were on the card out of clay and your team had to guess three correct before time ran out, Hum Punch, you had to hum 2 or 3 songs correctly for your team to guess...no one liked that one!, and another was called Straight Up. With that category everyone wrote something true or funny about the person that had the coaster and the coaster holder picked the best true and the best funny thing written and hoped those statements came from people on their team so that they could keep the coaster. After playing a few rounds, we headed to bed. Another great day at the beach had another great ending!
